Ghosts are dead sorcerers who cast Dark Magic. They were led by the Boss Ghost. Ghosts are the main antagonists of the 2016 Game, the 2020 Game, and the 2024 game.

2016 Game[]
Ghosts are dead sorcerers who cast Dark Magic. By Halloween of 2016, they were led by the Boss Ghost, who went to the Magic Cat Academy to steal the Spell Book. After obtaining the Book, he summoned an army of Ghosts to come and take over the school. However, a student at the academy, Momo, began to use spells to defend the academy against the Ghosts.
After Momo defeated a majority of the army, including several high-ranking Ghost commanders (such as the Librarian Ghost, Cauldron Ghost, Planetarium Ghost and the Coach Ghost), she went to the top of a tower, where she found the Boss Ghost, who consumed the powers of the Spell Book and became a mutated monster Ghost. However, Momo was able to defeat him and he returned to his normal form, falling out of the sky.
2020 Game[]
While Momo and her friends were celebrating their victory, the Boss Ghost fell into the ocean. He summoned the remaining Ghosts and they took control of the ocean. Momo dived into the water and began fighting Ghosts, which possessed several underwater creatures, such as the Vampire Squid, Immortal Jellyfish and the Anglerfish.
Momo eventually encountered the Boss Ghost again, who was possessing a fissure. However, after Momo defeated him again, his spirit possessed a volcano. After Momo killed the final members of the Boss Ghost's army, she used lightning to defeat the Boss Ghost, sending him flying into the sky, killing him for good.
2024 Game[]
in the 2024 Game, Momo and her friends are celebrating her victory, while the Boss Ghost, after flying through space, finds a certain Purple Star and eats it, becoming more powerful. Watching in terror as he torments them from within the sky itself, Momo and her friends work together to craft a magical broomstick, which Momo rides upwards into the sky. The ghosts fought her 4 times on the way up, led by powerful ghosts wielding a possessed Flying Fox, a mass of snow, a Red Sprite, and several Stars. Eventually, Momo is ambushed by the Boss Ghost, but fights back and forces him to spit out the Star he consumed, which falls into and corrupts the Sun. Realizing the extent of his error, the Boss Ghost willingly teams up with Momo, and they defeat the Sun and destroy the Star for good.
2017 Film[]
A year after the Boss Ghost's death (or at least defeat, since later years' games depicted him surviving, and even becoming friends with Momo), a picture of him and his army was held in the room of a Ghost named Jinx, who later became friends with Momo.
Description[]
Ghosts are white blobs with a curve at the back. They had eyes with white pupils. In the game, a Ghost had a symbol above their head for the player to copy and kill them. However, some higher-ranking Ghosts looked slightly different than the standard ones.
In 2017, the Ghosts were given a makeover and Jinx was transparent and had arms. He still floated above the ground and had black dots for eyes.
