The Dark Star was a star that was in space, after the victory of Momo in Magic Cat Academy 2, the Boss Ghost was launched into space; after he saw the Dark Star, he ate it and turned into a cosmic powerful being summoning all the ghosts up into space. At the end of the 4th level in the third game, the Boss Ghost returns and tries to defeat Momo, but after the star got out of the Boss Ghost, it absorbed the Sun, turning it into a cosmic being, after the Boss Ghost and Momo team up and successfully defeat the Sun and the Magic Star exploded into candy, raining on Earth.
